Dr Nicholas Chen is currently a staff Specialist Radiologist and the Director of Training for Radiology at St George Public Hospital. He is also a Co-founder and Director of ScanMedical Group and is responsible for developing quality and standards, processes and protocols and developing new sub-specialities at ScanMedical group. He also the Head of Cardiac and Lung Imaging, Oncology Imaging and Neuro and Head & Neck Imaging at ScanMedical Group.
Nicholas graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2012. He followed radiology fellowship training at Price of Wales Hospital and Neuro sub-specialty training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. Nicholas completed Radiology fellowship and received his fellowship in May 2020. Since then, he is a Staff Specialist Radiologist at St George Public Hospital. Nicholas also has been working with few prestigious private radiology groups, especially specialising in Oncology and Neuro sub-speciality imaging.
Nicholas has completed advanced training in CT Coronary Angiography and gained significant expertise through his prolific reporting . He has developed significant interest in lung cancer screening in high-risk patients. Nicholas is heading and leading Neuro Imaging and Cardiac Imaging teams at ScanMedical Group to new heights where ScanMedical is developing the infrastructure and skills and expertise to providing world class Imaging in both clinical and Research areas.

Dr. Linh Vo is a highly skilled Imaging Specialist with extensive training and expertise in Trauma Imaging and MRI imaging, particularly in Body Imaging. She completed her initial fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2014 and subsequently pursued a Body Imaging Fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital. Her background includes significant experience in male and female pelvic MRI, as well as general respiratory, abdomino-pelvic, trauma, gynecological, and obstetric imaging.
Linh graduated with First Class Honours in Medical Science from the University of Sydney in 2004 and earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Australian National University in 2008. During her radiology training at Royal North Shore Hospital, a major Trauma and Burns Center in New South Wales, she also completed a Head and Neck Imaging Fellowship, enhancing her skills in that sub-specialty.
Linh plays a crucial role in advancing our group’s commitment to sub-specialty radiology, focusing on urgent and complex after-hours reporting in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Trauma, and Pelvic Imaging, ensuring high-quality care for patients and support for Care Partners.

Expertise:
Dr Juliana Yee is qualified radiologist who completed training at the St George Hospital network with a fellowship in Breast Imaging in 2022. She remains committed to excellence in breast imaging with ongoing appointments at BreastScreen, and continued coursework in general breast imaging, breast MRI and contrast mammography.
Dr Yee’s other interests include quality improvement in radiology and AI. She is directly involved in optimising imaging protocols, working closely with sonographers and radiographers. Dr Yee maintains a casual advisory position for RIS-platform development and optimisation, and is working to integrate further AI technologies into the reporting ecosystem.

Expertise:
Dr Thomas Ho is currently a staff Specialist Radiologist and the Director of Training for Radiology at St George Public Hospital. He is also a Co-founder and Director of ScanMedical Group and is responsible for developing imaging centres at locations where the group believes that the quality of imaging and services can be improved significantly. He is also the Head of Musculoskeletal Imaging and MSK Interventions at ScanMedical Group.
Thomas graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2004. He subsequently undertook Radiology Fellowship training at Westmead and Auburn Hospital network and received his FRANZCR in 2013.
After receiving his Radiology Fellowship, Thomas further trained as a MRI Fellow at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne in 2014 where he learnt MRI of all body systems, particularly in neurology and head and neck. It is at this stage that Thomas realized the world of MRI could not be possibly mastered in a single year. Thomas wanted to learn further sub-specialised training in some of the world-renowned imaging centres in the world.
In 2014-2015, Thomas was a Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellow at Ottawa Hospital, University of Ottawa and further trained in all aspects of MSK imaging, including the particular strengths of imaging of Bones and Joints in MRI and ultrasound, as well as various nuances of pain management using joints and spine injections and interventions. In 2015-2016, Thomas was a visiting Clinical Fellow in Cardiovascular MRI at Boston Children’s Hospital and Research Fellow at the Harvard Medical School, with focus on adult and congenital heart diseases.
In 2016, Thomas came back to his roots in Sydney and worked as a Staff Specialist and VMO at imaging departments of some of the prestigious teaching hospitals such as Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Macquarie university Hospital. He then moved to private radiology as a MSK and MRI sub-specialty radiologist.
In 2020, his thirst for further research and teaching took him to St George Public Hospital and later he became one of the Directors of Training for the department.
In addition to his skills and expertise in diagnostic and MSK interventional imaging, as one of the architects of establishing a premier medical imaging group in Australia, Thomas brings leadership, vision, quality assurance and multidisciplinary team approach to the medical imaging provided by ScanMedical.

Dr Keith Wong is dual qualified Imaging Specialist who qualified as a Radiologist then went onto complete his training in both Nuclear Imaging and PET Imaging. Keith was trained in Radiology at Price of Wales hospital with extensive rotations which include subspecialties of Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, Body imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging and Paediatric imaging. In addition to practicing radiology after he obtained his fellowship, Keith further trained in Nuclear and PET imaging and Theranostics at the prestigious Department of PET , Nuclear Imaging and Theranostics at St Vincent’s Hospital and at St George Public Hospital.
Keith has the passion to improve the quality of general radiology and the oncology imaging. He believes these efforts and improved quality will improve the clinical outcomes for the largest number of patients at the point of care. He worked extensively with his radiographers and sonographers and improve the protocols and the processes t improve the image quality, hence the outcome of patients.
Keith has experienced in working with most prestigious Imaging groups in Australia and working with ScanMedical Group since 2023.

Dr. Rusi Gunawardena is a dedicated Imaging Specialist with specialised training in MRI and Body Imaging. Currently serving as a staff specialist Radiologist at Liverpool Hospital and St George Hospital—two of Australia’s busiest and most prestigious teaching hospitals—he has established himself as an expert in his field.
Rusi earned his Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2014. He completed his Radiology Fellowship through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) from 2018 to 2023 at Liverpool Hospital, the largest teaching hospital and major trauma center in New South Wales. His training included extensive clinical rotations across hospitals within the Liverpool Hospital Network.
In 2023, he further enhanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in MRI at the renowned Monash Centre in Melbourne, focusing on Body Imaging as his sub-specialty.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gunawardena is actively involved in teaching radiology to registrars and medical students. He participates in multidisciplinary clinical meetings, contributing to improved outcomes for complex patient cases. Dr. Simren Kaur is a General Radiologist and Staff Specialist with sub-specialist expertise in paediatric imaging at Prince of Wales Hospital. She graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2014 and completed a Paediatric Imaging Fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne in 2023. Dr. Kaur has a strong interest in medical education, supervising UNSW students and frequently providing both formal and informal tutorials for radiology trainees, including those preparing for the new RANZCR Part 2 exam format.

Dr Jayraj Bhatti is a dedicated radiologist currently pursuing a Diagnostic Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Calgary, Canada, a renowned center for neuroradiology, since July 2023. With a solid foundation in radiology, he is focused on advancing his expertise in this intricate field.
Jayraj graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Studies with Distinction and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2015. He further specialized in Radiology by completing the Fellowship program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) from 2018 to 2023. Throughout his training, he gained extensive experience through clinical rotations, including at the prestigious Prince of Wales Hospital.
In addition to his clinical work, Jayraj is deeply committed to education. He has served as an Anatomy Tutor at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Notre Dame, where he guided medical students in prosection practicals and enhanced their understanding of complex anatomical structures.
Jayraj actively participates in professional development, attending numerous conferences, such as the RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting and the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group Virtual Conference. He has contributed to the field through presentations on topics including the implications of CT scan imaging techniques on evaluating tibial tuberosity-trochlear groove distances.

Dr Praveen Indraratna is a multimodality imaging cardiologist with the highest Australian qualifications in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and echocardiography. He leads both the cardiac CT and MRI services at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. He has expertise in a broad range of complex cardiac pathologies, including congenital heart disease, structural heart disease, coronary artery disease and cardiomyopathy.
Praveen is a Teacher, a Leader, a Researcher and Mentor in the cardiac imaging field. He is an instructor at the Australian Institute of Cardiac CT accreditation course and mentor cardiology trainees and fellows in multimodality imaging. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, with several papers in advanced cardiac imaging, including being the lead author of the 5-year outcome analysis of the CONFIRM CTCA registry.

Dr Yiling Situ is a Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty interests in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at St Vincent’s Clinic and St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Yiling was the recipient of two medical scholarships and graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales in 2013.
She undertook Physician and Cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. Dr Situ subsequently completed the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital and has acquired extensive imaging experience in cardiac CT and MRI. She is an accredited Level B CT Coronary Angiography Specialist.
Dr Situ is currently undertaking her PhD studies at St Vincent’s Hospital in conjunction with the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and the University of New South Wales, focusing on heart transplantation and cardiac MRI. Her PhD aims to develop alternative non-invasive imaging assessment for cardiac rejection in heart transplant patients in place of invasive cardiac biopsies. Dr Situ has extensive involvement in research with both St Vincent's Hospital and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and has authored multiple publications in international and peer-reviewed journals. Dr Situ is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and an examiner for the final year medical student examinations.
As a general and imaging Cardiologist, Dr Situ is experienced in managing a wide range of cardiac conditions, and is passionate about the use of advanced cardiac imaging for the assessment of cardiovascular disease.
